Amelie Nicholson

After completing an A-level in Fine Art, I am now studying a Foundation Diploma to explore new areas of art and design. During my A-levels, I completed a project on the coast and became very interested in modern Romanticism. I used these ideas to portray the North East as dramatic and beautiful, and I am keen to keep using my work to present this overlooked area in a positive light. I have taken ideas of vulnerability and isolation into my current work, whilst experimenting with contemporary techniques. Ultimately, I aspire to study for a Fine Art degree before a career in the creative industry.
